This tutorial is for a Halloween bow using the Terri Bow technique and the Probow bowmaker.
The Terri Bow was developed by Terri Marshall of MilandDil Designs. Terri created this method using the Probow bowmaker.
It's a great way to use up your scrap ribbon. Her original method using six different ribbons, but you can alter this any way you like of course.
Today, we're using scrap ribbon for the Halloween bow. We have hundred of styles of ribbon at Trendy Tree. Ribbon for all occasions, holidays and everyday creations. Most all of our ribbon is wired. We have widths of 1.5" 2.5" and 4" Many styles are available with 25 yards or 100 ft.
Generally, you will find our rolls have 10 yards on them.

If you have difficulty making pretty bows, the Terri bow is a solution to that!
It takes six different styles of ribbon to make an "official" Terri bow, but as you can see, in the project above, we just used three styles and repeated them. You can also mixed different widths of ribbon.
Get your Probow at Trendy Tree. The Terri bow isn't the only bow you can make with this board. There are many bow recipes available on the Probow website and Probow YouTube channel. We have other tutorials too.
The easiest ribbon for bow making is wired ribbon whether it be 1.5" (#9) or 4" in width.
Practice your bow making with some inexpensive ribbon, take it apart and practice again before using your new ribbon.
Trendy tree has almost 1,500 styles of ribbon in stock and more on the way! If there a pattern or style that you don't see and need, please let us know! We're happy to keep it in mind when we go to market to shop for ribbon. We go 3-4 times a year, usually in the winter and summer.
