Christmas Signs!

One of our favorite customers and tutorial collaborators, Nick Sanders of 39 County Home, has used so many of our products in his creations and we appreciate that! Nick has an Etsy shop where his beautiful wreaths are for sale and we're going to show you a few today!

Now, on to the Christmas wreaths! 

We know, as an internet shopper that it can be difficult to put things together for a wreath by simply looking at a flat image on a phone or computer screen. Even if the dimensions of the sign are given, it's still hard to imagine exactly if it's the right size or not. 

So here's just a few of our Christmas signs that Nick has used on some of his wreaths, that will help give you an idea of size, placement, etc.

The Sign: MD0773 12" Metal Merry Christmas Gnome 

At first I wasn't so sure about the grey....for Christmas. But Nick make it so cheerful with bright red ribbon that it's turned out to be one of my favorites! Here's how Nick describes this wreath:

The Sign: AP7063 10.5" Merry Christmas MDF 

The AP7063 isn't the same sign that Nick used, but it's similar and gives you an idea of how you could use it. We understand the problems customers can run into when trying to put together items for a wreath. 

Picking out ribbons for a red, green and white sign like this might seem simple enough, but it's not always that easy! Solids? Polka dots? Stripes? Patterns? Most of the time, speaking for myself, I will spend too much time or thought into it! Does that happen to you? This is a sign that you almost couldn't go wrong with just about anything red, white, green that you might pick out. 

Notice how Nick used different patterns, sizes and texture. Some ribbon is glittered, some with a snowdrift edge. Polka dot, stripes and squiggles! Anything goes!

The SIgn: AP0123 Let It Snow 12" Round Metal 

I love this sign! We've stocked it for a couple of years now and one of the best things about this sign, is that it works Christmas right on through winter.

Nick's wreath has a comfy, cozy look with the natural mesh base, plaid ribbons snowflakes, frosty berries and twigs. 

This sign also would work great with a snowdrift style or snowed mesh, red, black, white ribbons or throw in some blue or green. Or some cardinals!

The Sign: AP7057 10" Kringle's Rudolph & Co Christmas 

Don't you just love distressed, vintage look products. This 10" square sign is made of MDF. It easy to attach chenille stems to the back of a sign like this with a heavy-duty stapler. You just have to be sure that your staples are not so long as to go through the sign. If necessary, you can place a little piece of cardboard on the sign before you staple. Just a tip)))
