Who says Valentine means pink and red hearts?? Not Shelia at Holiday Dressings! Shelia has put together this beautiful valentine wreath with a combination of red and black mesh, black and white polka dot ribbon and contrasting red print ribbon. The big heart in the center with the plaid background just seems to pull it all together. Stunning and bold! She also found another great use of those Christmas balls that are easy to find at after Christmas sales. But here ya go......perfect for pink lovers everywhere! Sparkly hot pink with sheer red hearts. Love the use of the ball ornaments - some glittery, some shiny in red and hot pink. Notice the heart picks. Shelia created the large heart picks in the wreaths by inserting a wire into Deco Flex Tubing. What a creative touch! Using this technique with flex tubing could be the solution for some of those little personal touches you would like to add to a wreath, but just can't find the sign with the perfect wording etc. Deco Flex Tubing is a Craig Bachman Imports product. It's available in many colors and comes in bags of 30 yards. It's very shiny, and a hollow mesh tubular product. You can insert a wire, pipe cleaner, Glitzy Stick.....any sort of wire to bend into the shape you want......you could fashion words......shapes....or just coil it around your wreath instead of just tying it on and letting the loops fall where they may.
